MPE Partners was honored to receive the 2024 Private Equity Fund Deal Maker of the Year award at the 27th Annual Deal Maker Awards on January 31. The event was presented by the Association for Corporate Growth (“ACG”) Cleveland. Constantine Elefter, a Partner at MPE, accepted the award on behalf of the firm and was joined on the podium by Partners, Peter Taft and Karen Tuleta.
The Deal Maker Awards recognize significant achievements of companies or individuals who participate actively in merger and acquisition activity in Northeast Ohio. Awards are chosen by a steering committee assembled to review several dozen nominations.
Over the last 12 months, MPE completed seven investments (two platform and five add-on acquisitions), a portfolio company exit, three dividend recaps, and a sale leaseback transaction. This honor capped off a productive year at the firm, which included the closing of MPE’s oversubscribed fourth fund, MPE Partners IV, L.P., at the hard cap of $633 million (inclusive of the general partner capital commitment).
